At 118West, our mission is to build robust, scalable, high-converting digital foundations for our clients. Today, we are thrilled to make an official milestone announcement: 118West is officially an Elegant Themes Partner, recommending and supporting Divi as our cornerstone WordPress framework.
While this formal partnership marks an exciting step forward, Divi is far from new to our workflow. We have been actively building, deploying, and optimizing websites with Divi for over 10 years. Over the past decade, we have watched Divi evolve from an ambitious visual builder into the most capable, agency-grade design framework in the WordPress ecosystem.
Why Divi Stands Apart from Standard WordPress Themes
Standard WordPress themes often lock your website into rigid, cookie-cutter layouts. Making minor structural modifications usually requires custom PHP coding, fragile child themes, or a chaotic stack of third-party plugins that degrade page performance.
Divi operates on an entirely different level by replacing traditional theme constraints with complete visual freedom and enterprise-grade design architecture:
-
Complete Full-Site Visual Editing: Instead of guessing how changes look in an admin backend, Divi provides true on-canvas, drag-and-drop design. Every header, footer, archive layout, and landing page template is built visually with zero theme-code boundaries.
-
Global Design Systems & Presets: Divi’s preset management and global styling allow businesses to scale effortlessly. Update a brand color, typography scale, or button behavior once, and it propagates across the entire site instantly while preserving component-level nuance.
-
Deep Dynamic Content & WooCommerce Integration: Divi seamlessly connects native layout modules to custom fields, CRM endpoints, and WooCommerce product pipelines without requiring custom code.
-
Next-Generation Speed & Native AI Tools: With the modern Divi 5 foundation and integrated Divi AI, site owners benefit from rapid code generation, responsive breakpoint control, automated asset optimization, and lightning-fast load times.
